May software cause burn-in-effect?

Hey guys,
because the display of my phone was broken, it has been replaced by a "new" one. Unfortunately the new display shows the burn-in-effect. The navigation bar, which is on-screen, is not 100% vanishing, when for example a bright video is watched. So the company which repaired the phone is claiming that this is issue is caused by the software.
My question is: This cant be true right? The burn-in-effect is always caused by hardware right?

GravityBox Bug and Some Xposed Problems Bootanimation

My C5 Ultra is rooted fine with that guide, it is working. But some xposed mods (probably because this is a Sony ROM) isnt working and GravityBox got some bugs (ex. Navigation Bar changes dimensions on every reboot but its actually at the right value) this is actually something other than troubleshooting and Q&A because I figured out the reason while writing. But in some Xperia titled modifications there is still bugs thats the thing that bothers me. So yeah device works with root and xposed BUT modules and/or somethings are broken.

When it comes to boot animation, device just dont seem to want to change it. OEM file is custom System is custom but it still uses the default boot animation. It just feels weird. Permissions, everything is alright but it aint working.

retrieving data from asus ME301T

i have asus ME301T tab 10inch
the screen kinda broke and now is non responsive and to replace it would be expensive for me atm
but there are valuable data on the device
is there any way to retrieve it back ?

Wifi shows continuesly on in battery states

Hi all
I am using dual sim moto X-Play with latest stock from with squid kernel and exposed. I don't use wifi but still under battery states it shows on all the time. Please see attached screenshot. Can anybody help me about the problem.
